5 Silly Fashion Rules You Should Break
We have always been a judging society, and the fashion industry is no exception.
If anybody criticizes you because of how you move, talk, dress, or even eat, it just shows how insecure they are. It shouldn’t bother you.
I’ll provide five silly fashion rules that you can break. In this manner, you can feel at ease in whatever you’re wearing without worrying about how others are judging you.
1. I don’t have a nice “shape.”
Don’t feel bad about your shape. Remember that fashion is about self expression; thus, break this rule by:
- Choosing your size with many brands and styles
- Wearing it with confidence
Remember, your body shape is just as perfect as everyone else’s.
2. Fashion is for young people
Who told you that? Who says that older people cannot appreciate fashion? Don’t think about such things, and instead, appreciate the appropriate fashion trends as they appear.
3. I’ll be made fun of by others
People will undoubtedly talk. If there are more than 100 people in a ballroom and you go in, at least half of them will avoid you because of what you are wearing.
The remaining 30 might appreciate you, while the last 20 might show indifference.
Fashion is nobody’s business, so develop an immunity to such reactions.
4. Dress to impress
You should dress to impress.
Many people contributed to the creation of these rules subconsciously, and this has led to numerous societal vices.
Because they lack the skill to dress to impress, people steal, seduce, and wallow in self-pity.
Additionally, instead of dressing to impress, you should make an impression. Wear comfortable outfits and if you don’t have what the occasion demands, do whatever you feel is appropriate.
You will be held captive by the “dress to impress” rule if you don’t comprehend this.
5. Follow all the trends
You should not always follow all fashion trends.
There are countless lists of fashion trends.
You are special and your style would be special.
And that’s it.
Don’t let these fashion rules make you feel confined. Fashion, although not for the weak, is also not for the strong.
To understand fashion might take time, but once you do, your style will always be trendy.
